What Choreboard Collects
Choreboard stores the boards, roommates, chores, completions, invite memberships, support messages, and optional Telegram link information that users create.
For abuse prevention and support, Choreboard may store IP address, user agent, device type, request timestamps, and rate-limit metadata.
How The Data Is Used
Data is used to run shared chore boards, enforce invite-based board access, troubleshoot support requests, prevent abuse, and keep deleted boards recoverable during the retention window.
Telegram
If a household links Telegram, Choreboard stores the Telegram chat id and username needed to record chores from Telegram messages and send bot replies.
Retention
Soft-deleted boards are hidden from normal use and retained for up to 30 days for recovery before they may be permanently purged.
Beta Status
Choreboard is in public beta. Do not store sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or emergency information in board names, chores, comments, support messages, or attachments.
